forosite.com project status
We are currently testing the forosite.com project bot, which we call FSBOT. Its task is crawl as many forums as possible gathering information and then merge forums based on their content. Crawling a site forum takes from days to weeks depending on their size. FSBOT reads only small amounts of data from the same forum each time so it doesn't impact each forum server load, that is why it takes so long to read a whole forum. Remember we are proud of all the good work and effort all forums members do so we must sacrifice our own performance before causing them server over load problems.
Also it is important to notice that we will only show mesages that can be read on the source forums as a guest user. FSBOT doesn't read messages that can be read only by registered members. If the source forum webmaster decided to do it that why , we are not going to break that rule. If you decide to read those 'members only' messages we will help you redirecting to the source forum where you can register and then read them even reply them. Remember forosite.com project doesn't own the messages only shows them in a different way that we think may help users get their questions answered much faster.
